In the <Understanding CIM> course, we cover the basics of the program, including an explanation of the nine workspaces provided by CIM, along with UI, basic settings, and object attribute information. This course aims to enhance your understanding of the 3D modeling environment in CIM, establishing fundamental concepts for various features that will be utilized in future training materials and practical applications

 

Course 1) Understanding of the Workspace

  • Explore the 9 workspaces in MIDAS CIM
  • Explore 5 modeling workspaces with Assembly Unit, Curve and Point Library starting from Base Mode for 3D modeling, and User Section Mode for 2D
  • Learn about Draw Rebar Mode and Draw Stiffener Mode, dedicated workspaces for dependent objects in Concrete and Steel structures
  • Understand Analysis Mode for analysis integration, as well as Construction Mode for quantity estimation and construction phase depiction
